It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Electric Island, the immense concert and picnic series is back on Hanlan’s Point for its sixth season, which is bound to be bigger and better than ever before. For just five days a year, Hanlan’s Point on the Toronto Islands is transformed into a party paradise, with the city’s dance music aficionados grooving all day long to some of the world’s most sought-after acts. Over the past five years, the series has hosted some mammoth names including Ben Klock, Sasha, Nina Kraviz, The Black Madonna, and Sven Väth – to name just a few. One of the most anticipated events of the summer season, it is definitely one of the promises that gets us Canadians through the grey of winter.
Historically, Electric Island is hosted on each and every Canadian holiday Monday in the summer months – those being Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic Holiday and Labour Day. They’ve switched in some Sundays, to give Electric Islanders that extra day of rest before the work week!
Early bird season passes are now available for only $99 + taxes & fees! At just twenty dollars and change per event, you really can’t go wrong. Note that passes don’t include your ferry ticket and as always, arrive early to catch those day vibes!
