EVENT PREVIEW: Electric Escape presents U4RIA with Oliver Smith, DeeCee & A.D. The Kid @ Nest 10-05-19

Get ready #TranceFamily, because AnjunabeatsOliver Smith is making his return to the city for an intimate 3-hour extended set inside Nest Toronto on Friday, May 10th. With support from DeeCee and A.D. The Kid, this next installment of U4RIA: Trance Collective is a can’t-miss event for all progressive trance fans.

Oliver Smith (Facebook)

Oliver Smith is a DJ and dance music producer from London who’s played at famed UK venues like Ministry of Sound, The Warehouse Project and Wembley Arena, as well as internationally in America, India, and Ibiza. Described as “an excellent DJ” by the likes of Armin van Buuren, “sensational” by DJ Magazine, and “the best thing to happen in trance” by Mixmag, it’s no surprise that Oliver’s had the opportunity to play some of the most infamous festivals and clubs in the world — and now, our very own Nest. Lucky us!

Not only was Oliver the first signing to the Anjunabeats label, but he’s also the only producer to be featured on all 13 of the “Anjunabeats Volume albums to date—other than label bosses Above & Beyond—and is a regular host on Anjunabeats Worldwide Radio, which is broadcast on over 100 FM stations across the planet. Oliver has seen great success with his remixes of tracks from Arty, Seven Lions, Mat Zo, and Maor Levi. These tracks have been featured on major radio and club playlists and have ranked high in both the Spotify and Beatport charts. In 2018, Oliver mixed the “Anjunabeats Worldwide 08” album, which included 10 of his own tracks; it made it to the #1 spot on the iTunes dance chart in Canada, the US, UK, Australia and more.

A.D. The Kid and Deecee

DeeCee will be one of the supporting acts for the event, so the Toronto Trance Family can look forward to hearing his always-incredible mix of progressive and uplifting tracks. I know I can’t wait to hear what Derek hits the decks with. Here’s a taste of what to expect:

Attendees also get the pleasure of hearing the secondary supporting act, A.D. The Kid — one of Toronto’s finest new talents. It’s not hard to feel Adrian’s passion and energy during his sets that feature a perfectly curated mix of tech and trance tracks. Check out his opening set for Jordan Suckley from one of our last U4RIA events:
