UPDATE: The Hoxton closed on January 28th 2017.
The Hoxton made it’s debut to the Toronto club scene in the summer of 2011. Since opening its doors, the venue has hosted events for an enormous selection of DJs covering all genres under the umbrella, including: Jerome Isma-Ae, Zeds Dead, Duke Dumont, Lane 8, Kill The Noise, Snails, Alison Wonderland, DJ Snake, Ilan Bluestone, Dillon Francis, Vicetone, Tchami, Bassjackers, A-Trak, Boys Noize, Borgeous, Dzeko & Torres, The Chainsmokers, Carnage, Will Sparks, 3LAU, Keys N Krates, Audien, Laidback Luke, Bingo Players, Dada Life, and Skrillex. In addition, The Hoxton is the proud home of the “No Neon” series. The first instalment took place in January of 2015. Curated by Toronto producer and DJ Hunter Siegel, fans in attendance can expect a deeper bass set, featuring “a ton of music that you probably won’t be able to Shazam”.
The 8,000 sq. ft. space is capable of holding up to 650 guests. It has a long and narrow layout with very minimal decor, featuring industrial pillars and exposed brick walls. A semi-private raised VIP area is located to the right of the DJ booth. There are two bars, one that runs two-thirds the length of the east wall, and the other side near the bottle service area.
